Frame 1
This is the opening frame in the video. It 's a medium close-up of a young couple laying on the beach, however, the man seems to bear striking resemblance to a well-known corporate mascot. He wears a similar costume, but the emblem on his chest bares the band's initials (BC - Best Coast). The couple appear to be happy, which fits in with the title of the song 'When I'm With You (I Have Fun)'.

Frame 2
This is a medium long-shot of the couple paddling in the sea, which again illustrates that they are having a fun date on the beach.

Frame 3
This close-up shot of the couples entwined hands exaggerates the fact that they are in loving relationship. The contrasting blue, yellow and red colours also adds a bright summery feel to the whole video.

Frame 4
Then comes a medium shot of Bethany, the main singer, and Bobb (multi-instrumentalist and former Vivian Girls drummer) waiting on an American style porch. This illustrates that some time has passed between this shot and the last shot. It is apparent that Bethany is waiting to be picked up by a date, and Bobb is there to wave her off.

Frame 5
A medium close-up of Bobb follows, and it appears that he is waiting for Bethany's date to arrive, drinking a cup of coffee. It's possible that this shot was added to show Bobb's involvement in the band, and not to have to much attention on Bethany.

Frame 6
This medium shot shows Bethany's date arriving in a vintage-looking Jeep, and the couple leaving. The car could possibly represent the quirky, laid-back lifestyle that the couple lead.

Frame 7
This close up of Bethany's date has emphasis on his smile, which indicates that he is happy. His gaze is on her, who is sitting in the passenger seat - this shot is filmed from the back seat of the car.

Frame 8
A close up of Bethany follows, which illustrates that the couple are mutually happy in each others company, and again emphasizes the title and the lyrics of the song.

Frame 9
The final shot shows Bethany and Bobb sat outside a fast food restaurant - Bethany singing and Bobb playing the guitar. This is essentially a climax to the video, wrapping up the story. A short montage follows, mainly focused on Bethany's relationship. And her cat.

Tame Impala - Solitude Is Bliss

Frame 1
Psychedelic, indie-rock band Tame Impala are well known for controversial, abstract videos, and this is no exception. This first shot shows the main character running through a crowd of policemen to get to a car accident. It is implied that he knows one of the victims.

Frame 2
After a short struggle, the character (who is not the singer of the band, or even in the band at all) breaks free from the policeman
Frame 3
Strangely, the next wide shot is of the character walking down an empty road, with carnage all around him. He appears not to be phased by the burning cars and lifeless bodies around him. He even begins to embrace it, dancing on bonnets and kicking injured people.

Frame 4
The character makes the shape of a gun with his fingers and shoots a running figure in the distance; there is then a pull focus and it falls to the ground. This is an abstract idea that gives the character total control within this scene.

Frame 5
Until now, the colours of the video have been quite monotonous; dark greys and blues. However, now, yellow confetti rains from the sky onto the character, creating a sense of happiness.

Frame 6
This tracking shot is used to follow the character as he struggles to push his way through an oncoming crowd. His facial expressions convey the mood perfectly, and the music builds to a crescendo as he is somehow transported to the next setting.

Frame 7A medium long-shot of the character shows that he has now been discovered by a dog. The dog seems to be playful, and begins to interact with the character. However, the character is displeased and kicks the dog away.

Frame 8
This slow motion medium close-up shows the character about to punch the dog, which is a chilling notion for any audience.

Frame 9
This final medium close-up appears to be at night with an orange light from above illuminating the character. His facial expression conveys the pain he feels, which is still unidentified.
